Ever have something so beautiful flow into your life?

And you realized how good it was for you? To you?

And your reflexes kicked in and you found yourself clutching it, grasping it, holding on so tight, squeezing it,
praying for ways to keep it here forever?

And just as you settled into that white-knuckled grip of death, you rmind whispered to you….
“…reason…season…lifetime…”
but you pushed that thought away in the moment because you were mesmerized by this beautiful thing.

You wanted it to be a ‘forever’ something, or at least a “long time” something

And before you knew it, you caught yourself holding your breath as tightly as you were holding onto that beautiful gift

And you caught yourself so focused on what tomorrow would bring, you realized today was slipping through your fingers and you hadn’t even begun to fully taste its goodness.

The present was staring you in the face -
rich moments to be enjoyed
warm memories to be created
today
now
in the present

So you brought yourself back to the moment, to the here-and-now
and you offered up sincere thanksgiving for all things beautiful about this situation,
for all the possibilities that live in today,

and you decide to step into all of it

until you’re completely saturated by all the promises it holds

and you gave way to the beauty it birthed in you

“Thank You” residing in each breath you take, lining each smile you give to the day.

That’s how I feel.
That’s were I am.

Loving every minute of it
but more importantly….
LIVING
every moment of it

simply

completely

inspired.
