“2-Piece Combos” is actually a string of 2 line poems from my “Unzip My Soul” poetry collection. These pieces came out of a writing exercise from a fellow writer. The challenge was to create a two-line poem, no more than 10 words per line. Enjoy! Have a safe & enjoyable weekend!

Confession
Not all confessions requires words spoken aloud.
Silence has a language of its own

Name change
She cries daily, hating her name.
She once loved being called Katrina.

Tomboy
His nickname was ‘Oak’.
Before tonight, I’d never climbed a tree.

Diet? What diet?
He - my midnight snack, a private Happy Meal.
Me - his breakfast in bed.

GPS
You ask my favorite positon.
I answer: you, inside me. Period.

Preventive Medicine
We make love. You chant anti-Alzhimers.
