I.LOVE.JILL.SCOTT. (Scouring the ‘net now to find out when & where she’s touring.) This short piece moves me to tears. it literally gives me the chills. And yet, I find myself replaying it again & again.
If EVER there was a call for us as women to make THIS known….if EVER there was a time for you as men to HEAR us…it’s right now.
Sooooo very much that I could say right now but a sistah is feeling a bit full right now so I’m gonna take it to the journal, the old-fashioned one. See how many poems spin out of this. Enjoy!
